Philipp Weiss

PHILIPP WEISS

Philipp Weiss, born in 1982 in Vienna, is a novelist and playwright. Until 2009 he studied German Literature and Philosphy, since then people, interrelations and circumstances.

On a wall in Noam Chomsky's office there is a picture of Bertrand Russell with the following quote: "Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind." Just one thing is missing in this list: the quest for beauty.
